Our Dental Hygienists
Tara
Tara graduated from Dental Hygiene at the University of Manitoba in 1998. She has enjoyed working with the Island Lakes Dental team since 2006. Tara strives to provide quality care to each individual, helping to ensure lifelong oral health.
Michelle
Michelle is a 1998 graduate of the University of Manitoba. Before working as a Dental Hygienist, Michelle was a Dental Assistant for 5 years. Michelle attends continuing education courses to help her patients achieve their oral health needs.
Laurie
Laurie is a graduate of the School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Manitoba. She has been a part of our team since 2010 and enjoys educating her patients about their oral hygiene.
Angie
Angie graduated from Dental Hygiene at Confederation College in Ontario in 2008. She started working with us in 2018. Prior to becoming a hygienist, Angie was a dental assistant for 3 years. Angie enjoys building relationships and providing thorough yet gentle care for her patients.
Lisa
Lisa graduated from the University of Manitoba School of Dental Hygiene in 1995. She started working part time at Island Lakes Dental Center in 2015. Lisa enjoys meeting new clients and helping them meet their oral health needs.
RebeccaRebecca graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2017. Rebecca makes an effort to make patients feel comfortable in the office, and assists patients in meeting their oral health needs.
Janet
My name is Janet and I work with the team on Thursdays as a Dental Hygienist. I graduated from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries in 2011 with honours. My hobbies are travelling, camping, shopping, and baking! I have two little ones that keep me very busy! We love spending time together outdoors as a family!
