Dr. Cole Humphrey
Born and raised in St Norbert, Dr. Humphrey always had a keen interest in art and science. It’s no wonder that he found himself in the field of dentistry where both go hand in hand. As a boy he was quite shy and terrified of anyone who’s first name started with “Dr”. Today, he prides himself on providing good bed side manner and instilling a comfortable environment for his patients.
Dr. Humphrey completed a BSc degree at the University of Manitoba before he went on to complete dental school at the Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba. During his schooling he developed a passion for oral surgery and decided to spend an extra year of training partaking in the General Practice Residency program at the Health Sciences Centre here in Winnipeg. This enabled him to improve his surgical skills, treat medically compromised patients, patients with special needs, and also become certified to provide conscious sedation in his practice.
In addition to working at Island Lakes Dental, he also works as an attending dentist at Health Sciences Centre, where he treats medically compromised and special needs patients.
Dr. Humphrey also loves playing hockey, golf, watching movies, fishing all year long and has a keen interest in construction and carpentry.
